Espacios de encuentro, construcción de paz, diálogo de saberes, talleres, procesos de formación y expresión juvenil, serán algunos de los servicios que brindará la nueva Casa del Espíritu Juvenil “Jaime Garzón”. El Alcalde de Bogotá, Gustavo Petro, inauguró la Casa de la Juventud en Santa Fe-Candelaria “Jaime Garzón”, el mandatario aseguró que las políticas públicas deben empoderar a los jóvenes, para que luchen por el territorio y derriben las fronteras invisibles que causan la violencia.
‘Estos espacios son para acabar guerras invisibles, pero reales que dejan muertos, para entregarle poder a los jóvenes, para incluirlos, para posibilitar que de fuerzas que se vuelven casi delincuenciales en algunos lugares se transformen en fuerzas positivas, constructivas, democráticas, así que esta es la casa del espíritu de la juventud en el barrio Egipto’, aseguró el mandatario capitalino.
El mandatario enfatizó en la fuerza juvenil, por medio de la cultura y la creatividad, ‘Es la única que puede acabar con una violencia que lleva generaciones y ha dejado secuelas de odio, venganzas y retaliaciones, tanto en la ciudad como en el país’ recalcó.
Uno de los objetivos de este espacio es crear una fuerza juvenil unificada que luche por sus territorios, que en el caso del centro de la ciudad, son amenazados por la codicia de las constructoras.
‘Esa división juvenil lo que permite es que el territorio lo ocupen otros, y yo creo que eso es lo que hay que evitar, y en esa medida si Bogotá Humana logra que esas guerras cesen, más bien, y que la unidad de esa juventud se materialice, entonces indudablemente tendremos unos resultados muy positivos’, afirmó el mandatario.
Con esta entrega, se completan siete Casas de la juventud en la ciudad, brindando así a esta población, un escenario para el posicionamiento, promoción y materialización de la agenda juvenil a partir de su reconocimiento como sujeto social de la construcción de la paz en el país y como espacio para la garantía y la realización de sus derechos.
En este escenario se promoverá el ejercicio de la ciudadanía y el goce efectivo de derechos que permite sacar a tantos jóvenes de las filas del micro tráfico, el pandillismo y las otras múltiples formas de violencias que se presentan en el área de influencia de esta casa.
