Bogotá encendió la llama por la Paz

En un acto organizado por la Alcaldía Mayor en cabeza de la Secretaría de Integración Social el cual reunió a cerca de 1000 gestores de paz de las diferentes localidades de Bogotá, organizaciones LGBT así como representantes de diferentes iglesias y ciudadanos, se encendió la ‘Llama de la Paz’, la cual permanecerá en la Plaza San Martín ubicada en la Carrera 7 con Calle 32, hasta el día en que se firme el proceso de paz que se lleva a cabo en La Habana (Cuba).

Con esta iniciativa se busca que todos los jueves  la ciudadanía se reúna para reiterar su aspiración para que los acuerdos de La Habana y la firma de la paz lleguen a feliz término. Con música, danza  e iniciativas populares Bogotá convocará a que se mantenga encendida la llama de la paz.

Luego de ser encendida la llama fue trasladada al Centro Distrital de Memoria, Paz y Reconciliación, para que desde allí se convierta en un símbolo permanente para convocar a la ciudadanía a reflexionar sobre la construcción de paz en Bogotá y el país en general. La llama por la paz hace parte de la iniciativa de los gestores de paz, cuyo número ya sobrepasa las 3.000 personas. “Lo que buscamos es iniciar una gran conciencia nacional de la importancia y trascendencia de los diálogos de paz de La Habana, la paz es mi anhelo” dice, Sofía Díaz, gestora de paz de la localidad de Bosa.

Por su parte el Secretario de Integración Social, Jorge Rojas aseguró que con estas acciones la capital avanza cada vez más como una ciudad más humana, “Vamos a sobrepasar al meta de los 10.000 gestores de paz en Bogotá que nos propusimos, esperamos para marzo contar con 20.000 personas en las calles de la capital explicando puerta a puerta cuál es el alcance y avances de los acuerdos de los diálogos de paz que se desarrollan en La Habana, entre el gobierno Nacional y la insurgencia”, agregó Rojas.
